Donation of materials to Ilogbo Community Primary Healthcare Centre
It was earlier proposed that RichGrace Family Healthcare Foundation will adopt the Ilogbo Community Health Centre for consistent supports while preparing for its own permanent structures in Ilogbo. This support will come in different form; for example, through provisions of drugs, procurement of relevant primary healthcare operational materials, training supports for staff of protection of the facilities, financial supports for medical bills of some patients at the primary health centre andfacilitating visits of medical practitioners and other technicians from US who want to provide instant medical assistance for the indigent people of Ilogbo. This project was the first of such supports. At the familiarisation meeting with Ilogbo Community Primary Health Centre, the head of the Centre presented a list of needs which were priority need for the health care centre at that moment. The items requested and purchased by RichGracewere;
RichGrace Family HealthCare decided to visit Ilogbo and present these purchased items to the Community Centre. Before donating, a curtsey visit was made to the paramount leader of the community. The king welcomed the RichGrace team generously and warmly. When he was informed of the intentions of RichGrace and the plan to make donations to the healthcare facility that day, he was filled with joy. He commented that he was not only supporting the plans of RichGrace, but that he is throwing himself completely into supports for RichGrace and he will inform his people that RichGrace has his total blessings and supports to operate in the Community. As customary, he was presented with some royal gifts. .
At the Ilogbo Community Centre, RichGrace delegation met with the head of the Centre. The RichGracedelegation was introduced and officially presentedRichGrace's intentions and plans for the Community Health Care. After walking touring the premises, official presentations of the materials purchased were done and well appreciated by the Community health staff. RichGrace delegation made sure that the Community health care staff understood that RichGrace was doing this help purely for humanitarian reasons and nothing else.These items were gifts to assist poor women of Ilogbo who seek basic medical assistance.
The meeting ended positively and everyone made commitments to keep the project alive. Outcome of the project
